..... OH... and WINTER BREAK for 2 weeks! LOL! Any families going anywhere to spend the holidays? Could you please take me!!!???

As part of our Social Studies theme on community and health curriculum link to empathy we are looking to do something with our class to help the less fortunate...whether it is families, adults, children, animals... talk to your child about how they think we should help out.  We will start collecting items later next week once we have decided how to help!  Thank you in advance for your generosity during this season.

You may have been hearing about "gems" and "dots" from your child.  As part of Mr. Shayler's time here, he has started a reward system for the class for some classroom management practice.  Our class can earn gems towards a class chosen reward once the desired number of gems is met.  Dots are for table work time. It's been working well.  We've redeemed for a couple rewards, and unfortunately we didn't meet a goal, but we are working hard towards our next reward.
