On the night of Tuesday, October 22nd, a mysterious wooden box appeared in our Learning Commons. Mrs. Wong does not know where it came from. What makes this even stranger, is Mrs. Wong locked the Learning Commons before she left on Tuesday, but when she entered the Learning Commons Wednesday, the suitcase was on her desk. Who entered the school and placed it in the Learning Commons? There is nothing on the box indicating who it is for or who it is from. The box is sealed shut and we can’t open it. Mrs. Wong said that the suitcase was covered in a thick layer of dust. Everyone once in a while, it moves ever so slightly. She placed it on a shelf for all to see. Note that there is caution tape around it.

--> No school on Friday, November 1. It is a CBE wide Professional Development Day! Enjoy your long weekend after Halloween night!!!
--> We are still searching for a couple more larger size pumpkins! Can you help us out?! If you are carving out a pumpkin and don't plan on keeping the seeds, please send them to school!! Just rinse them off and put 'em in a ziplock baggie and send it our way!! We will be doing some math, science and literacy activities with them!
--> We will take a walk over to the community gardens one day next week for an art project! Check back to find out which day!
--> Halloween is next Thursday. We will have a small class party in the afternoon. If you would like, send a snack to share with us and our buddy class! Please make sure it is NUT FREE as we do have allergies in our room. More information about costumes to come early next week.
