Design, plan, research, BUILD! Teamwork!
Today we began our Science unit on Building Things. The challenge was to build a home/shelter/building for a figurine. It was hard at first as we didn't understand sizing, but with lots of planning, redesigning, building and team work we started to build some great buildings!Ms. Li challenged the students to go home and think about a vehicle they could build tomorrow for that same figurine! Bring on the challenges! We are ready to build!
Friday is Mr. Shayler's last day for this term! We have learned so much from him about our role in the many communities we belong to, our rights, our responsibilities and all the benefits that come from participating in many different things! We learned that we are all UNIQUE and that our families are just as unique as we are!
Thank you Mr. Shayler! We will miss you!
