We had a fantastic time at Telus Spark Science Centre on Thursday! Thank you to Tara, Amy-Lee, Cass, Michelle, Melanie and Mr. Shayler for being such great chaperones! Please look at your calendar and book off April 14! If you are free to come downtown with us as we explore the Calgary Tower, Public Library and City Hall.

Scholastic Book Fair
Is on going this week. Students will have an opportunity to view the items up for purchase! Children will have an opportunity to purchase items on Wednesday, November 20 in the afternoon. Stop by the Learning Commons before or after your child's conference and grab some fun things!
The used book sale will also happen at the same time out in the hawksnest!
PHYS ED NEWS...
In-Line Skating starts this week! Tuesday - Thursday. Your child can bring their own helmet, knee/shin/wrist/elbow guards. Their equipment can be kept at school. The instructors do provide all equipment, so no worries if you don't have them at home already.
COMMUNITY WALK: we will be walking to various community landmarks on Wednesday, November 20 in the afternoon.
Calendar:
Short week: Early dismissal on Thursday (End time is 120pm). NO SCHOOL on Friday as it is Parent-Teacher conferences. You should've received an email to sign up for a time to come see your child's work and a time to speak to Mrs. Li
Parent-Teacher Conferences:
Online booking system is open! Please go and book off a time soon as they get filled up quickly. Allot about 45 minutes (which includes 15 minutes with Mrs. Li and time to see your child's work)
